In the latest installment of our #EmployeeSpotlight series, we speak to Megan Geeves, Junior Business Development Manager, to discover why she enjoys her role, her proudest moment at Hitec and some fun facts about herself!
How long have you been working at Hitec?
I’ve worked at Hitec for more than two years. I started as the Hire Controller then moved over to the Sales Team in October.
What does your job role involve?
My role involves a lot of customer interaction which I love. I bring in new business and customers which can sometimes be a challenge, but I’m not afraid of a challenge.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Visiting different sites and locations, which allows me to meet new people and customers.
What is your proudest moment as part of the team?
Every year without fail the team join me on the MS charity walk, there’s never any hesitation and we always have a great day. When you work at Hitec you really are a part of the team.
What is your biggest personal achievement as part of the team?
We take charity events and fundraising very seriously, we always have people offering to help out and I’m always up for fundraising and volunteering opportunities.
What do you enjoy most about Hitec and why would you recommend working there?
We are a very professional and productive team but we have fun along the way.
What’s your favourite film?
Arthur Christmas.
Favourite meal?
Chinese.

If you could be any celebrity, who would it be and why?
If anyone it would be Kaley Cuoco (Penny, from The Big Bang Theory). She’s such a beautiful, real person, caring to everyone and everything as well as being funny.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Believe in yourself!
