Flame Proofing

Carried out by the Miretti Group, flame proofing helps to prevent internal fires which can potentially begin in machines. It can prevent your machine from becoming too damaged and reduces the danger to operators. Flameproofing and explosion proof conversions can be carried out on both diesel and electric forklift trucks, as well as other vehicles produced by numerous manufacturers.
Temperature Monitoring
Heat generated by equipment can be hazardous around gases and flammable materials.
It is therefore necessary to take actions to prevent sparks from occuring. Putting safety first, Miretti Group’s ATEX EX equipment features protection controls for motor surface temperature, fluid temperatures and brake temperatures.
Explosion proof enclosures
What is an explosion proof enclosure? Explosion proof enclosures protect all cabling, wiring, valves and electrical components, ingnition system and batteries.
It is a case or housing that has been tested and approved to contain electrical components or apparatus. Although the joints will permit the entry of explosive vapours, the strength of the enclosures must contain any internal explosion.
The enclosures of Miretti Group’s ATEX EX equipment have been hydrostatically tested for internal explosive resistance to pressures in excess of requirements without failure.
