In the first installment of our #EmployeeSpotlight series, we speak to Paul Stiff, Sales, Assets and Marketing Manager to find out more about his role, why Hitec is a great place to work and some fun facts about himself!
How long have you been working at Hitec?
I’ve worked at Hitec for five years.
What does your job role involve?
I assist the Sales Team to support our customers and grow our fleet, as well as ensuring the business has the correct assets for both the Hitec Hire and Sales Teams to supply to our customers. Marketing Hitec Lift Trucks to the world and boosting our brand awareness via website, literature design and socials.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Cliché, but everyday in the role really is different and presents it’s own challenges.
What is your proudest moment as part of the team?
Watching the journey of the many people I started with, and those before me, creating Hitec Lift Trucks as the best place for all things MHE in the East of England.
What is your biggest personal achievement as part of the team?
I’m sure many will say, but winning Highly Commended at the UKMHA Awards in 2022. It was brilliant recognition for the teams hard work.
What do you enjoy most about Hitec and why would you recommend working there?
The “family” feeling that the Hitec still proudly presents inside and outside of the business. A genuine great place to work and the knowledge that everyone works together to achieve the same goal.
