In the next edition of our #EmployeeSpotlight series, we speak to Ben Stiff, Senior Account Manager, to learn what his job entails, why he loves working for Hitec and some fun facts about himself!
How long have you been working at Hitec?
I’ve worked with Hitec for four wonderful years, since 2019.
What does your job role involve?
My job entails looking after my area and customers to supply a full solution for all things MHE. I personally look after LU, SG, MK and some of NN postcodes. Also, as the Senior Account Manager, I help with the day-to-day management of the Sales Team, helping our Regional Account Managers with meetings, site visits and background support.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Building relationships with my customers is a great part of my role. I have met some amazing people and built some very strong partnerships and friendships over the years.
What is your proudest moment as part of the team?
We have been part of some large tenders for our now customers Prestige Homeseeker Park and Leisure Homes and GU Desserts. As the lead Account Manager on these tenders, it was a proud moment for me and the whole Hitec team when we were successful on supplying their new fleets.
What is your biggest personal achievement as part of the team?
Being invited to the UKMHA awards and being recognised as Highly Commended Dealer of the Year 2023 was an amazing achievement.
What do you enjoy most about Hitec and why would you recommend working there?
We’re a close knit team and we work together to support each other. Our customers are part of our family and we work closely with them too.
What’s your favourite film?
Not an easy choice but here are some of my favourites I’ll watch when it comes on; Legend, Bad Boys, Rise of the Foot Soldier.
Curried chicken/goat with fried dumplings.
Can’t say I have a favourite. My music ranges from 80’s, 90’s, Rock, Pop, Indie, Dance Hall, RnB, Hip Hop and Rap. I just love music!
If you could be any celebrity, who would it be and why?
Someone with an awful a lot of money!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Write down everything that is bothering or stressing you, and cross off the things you don’t have control of and forget about them. It’s pointless stressing over something you cannot control.
