We are delighted to announce that Hitec has been nominated as a finalist for the UK Material Handling Association (UKMHA) dealer of the year award.
We are being judged on the support we provide to customers, our safety policies, environmental factors and our charitable work.
The event, which takes place on Saturday 15th October 2022 is now known as The Archies and is the inaugural awards event for UKMHA. People from across the industry will gather at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham to pay tribute to the companies, teams and individuals who have done so much to innovate, raise standards and help operators work more effectively and safely.
The awards were previously held by the Forklift Association (FLTA) until the organisation recently merged with the British Truck Association, this body was for manufacturers and renamed UKMHA. All forklift companies in the UK can be entered and a panel reviews the entries before drawing up to four finalists.
Simon Lewis, General Manager at Hitec said: “As finalists we have already been recognised as one of the best forklift companies in the UK, which is a huge achievement for everyone at Hitec.
“Now we are in the final four we want to win as it would be brilliant recognition for the hard work and dedication of our people.”
