Long term Hitec customer Freefoam Plastics has taken delivery of a brand new Manitou Boom Lift.
Having worked together for nearly 20 years, we have formed a great partnership with Freefoam. Their diverse fleet of industrial is supplied by us and expertly maintained by our Engineers.
The Boom Lift is fully electric, which means that Freefoam no longer operate any diesel equipment as their existing materials handling trucks are all LPG configured. This transition away from diesel will help them meet sustainability targets and reduce their overall environmental impact.
Paul Stiff, Hitec’s Regional Business Development Manager, commented: “We are delighted to have completed this latest equipment delivery to Freefoam. We have built a great rapport with their team and given our extensive knowledge of their business we are able to deliver appropriate equipment solutions that can get the job done.
“The Boom Lift is a really exciting piece of kit as it has the capability to lift up to 60 feet, which means their equipment operators can reach to the top of their silos in one action. It also demonstrates the diversity of our product offering and how, at Hitec, we can meet your requirements. The extensive service and maintenance package is also a key part of the agreement, with Hitec’s expert engineers on-hand to ensure the machine remains safe and operational throughout its life-span.
