Hitec Lift Trucks has completed the delivery of a new articulated Flexi truck to the English Heritage site, Wrest Park in Bedfordshire.
The machine will be used mainly to help the Collections team at Wrest Park safely store and transport a wide range of artefacts and delicate items across their site, which is gearing up for a busy summer period following the anticipated relaxation of COVID restrictions.
Rachel Kitcherside, Collections Manager, Wrest Park, commented: “We initially contacted Hitec as we were looking to replace our existing truck as it was becoming unsuitable for our requirements. Ben and the Hitec team responded promptly and identified the appropriate solution for us, which was the Flexi truck.
“The operation of the Flexi is extremely smooth, which is very important for us as its main function is to transport delicate artefacts and other fragile items. We have been extremely pleased with the machine and it’s having a really positive effect on our business.
